Subject	front bumper damage

Message	Got the underside caught on something this afternoon while backing out. Popped the right side of the front bumper off the front panel. Chipped paint on the bumper because of the front flexing. Also cracked the bottom portion in the center slightly. I'll post some picts today or tomorrow. Most of the estimates I have are right at $1000 for a new bumper and paint (black emerald). Any comments, or things I should be watching for? I'm assuming it's difficult to fix the bent up / cracked front bumper (plus there are a lot of rock chips that make it hard to repaint from what I hear). Any suggestions on how to pick the place to do have it done at? Also, everywhere wanted $450 for the new front piece. Would it be cheaper to buy the piece elsewhere? Thanks. --derek
